Smart Start at Work:

Smart Start’s mission is to ensure every child in North Carolina arrives at school healthy and ready to succeed. Learn more about this public-private partnership and how it is helping young children across the state.

Advocate for Children:

Smart Start was created by a group of leaders dedicated to improving the conditions of young children in our state. Although we have come a long way since 1993, there is still work to be done. Learn ways to advocate for children in your community.

3. Others ways to show support

Future of Smart Start:

This presentation offers a timeline of Smart Start from when it was a vision of former Governor Jim Hunt to being a national model for other states.
