As we look back at the 2008-2009 fiscal year, we are proud of the many strides we have made in our strategic, efficient, and effective efforts to serve young children. The 2009 Smart Start Annual Report highlights some of our greatest successes of the year. As a leader in early care and education, we pride ourselves on using data to stay abreast of trends and implement programs that address critical issues.
This report shares results from some of our new, exciting projects. It also illustrates how key child health and early education indicators have improved overall since Smart Start’s inception.
